Baker Families, we are hosting our monthly grocery giveaway this afternoon. It will start at 3:30 p.m. and will run until 4:30 p.m. or until the food is gone. We've got a really great selection. The event is curbside, so just pull up to the east side of the building and we will load your vehicle. This is open to ALL Baker families. It's very cold outside, and our volunteers would love to give the food away in record time!

Baker Families, it's time for our annual Turkey Teacher fundraiser! Students can purchase feathers to attach to their favorite teacher's turkey for $0.25 each or 5/$1 on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. The teacher with the most feathers will wear a special costume after Tuesday's sales.

Due to standing water, wet conditions, and the threat of rain, we have made the decision to move our costume parade indoors. It is unfortunate, but we do not have the option of a covered area and need to make decisions based on student health and safety. We want to remind everyone that while breakfast and lunch are free this year, purchasing a milk outside of meals is not.
If your student brings a lunch from home and wishes to buy a milk from school, please make sure they have money on their account. You can do this by sending the money to school in an envelope clearly marked with the first and last name and "lunch money" on the outside. The cost for the two days of camp is $10 and every camper will receive a t-shirt. Save the date! Baker Elementary School will be hosting our Back to School Open House on Tuesday, August 10th from 5-6 PM. This is a great opportunity to drop off your student's school supplies, meet their teacher, and see the classroom where they will spend the 2021-22 school year.

This version of the plan (Draft 2) will be voted on by the School Board at the Tuesday, July 13th School Board meeting that is set to begin at 5:00 PM in the Winchester Community High School Library.
