October 23, 2020

Winchester Community High School - Two students received a positive test result for COVID-19 which required the quarantine of 34 students and 2 staff members.  Included in that number is one entire classroom that had to be quarantined because there were two students in that class that tested positive.  

Lee L. Driver Middle School - One teacher that was in isolation due to symptoms got a positive test result.  After contact tracing it was determined that one other teacher would have to be quarantined.

Lee L. Driver Middle School - One student tested positive.  No contact tracing issues because of the timing and fall break.  One teacher quarantined due to exposure from a relative.

Winchester Community High School - Three students at WCHS have tested positive for COVID-19.  Nineteen students were quarantined because of close contact with hose one of those students.  Two of the students did not require contact tracing due to fall break.

CORPORATION - In the entire Corporation on this day there are 12 students out due to isolation because of symptoms.  In all five schools there are a total of 77 quarantined students and staff due to close contact with someone that tested positive for COVID-19 either in or out of school.  There are a total of 9 students and staff that are currently out because he or she tested positive.  That is a total of 6.4% of the all five schools students and staff out.

Winchester Community High School - A teacher at WCHS received a positive test result for COVID-19.  Two students were quarantined for close contact and no staff were affected.

O.R. Baker Elementary School - A teacher at O.R. Baker Elementary School that had been in quarantine since October 9, 2020, because of close contact with a person that tested positive, received a test result that was misplaced by the State health department and tested positive.  Because the teacher was in quarantine no students or staff are affected.

October 16, 2020

Willard Elementary School - A student at Willard Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19.  One staff member and one other student were quarantined as close contacts.

October 14, 2020

O.R. Baker Elementary School - A staff member at O.R. Baker Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. One classroom is being quarantined for 14 days and will shift to eLearning for that time period. Because we are keeping classrooms isolated from each other no other classrooms are affected.

Randolph Central Transportation Department - A bus driver tested positive for COVID-19.  Six students from Baker Elementary School were quarantined as close contacts.

Winchester Community High School/Driver Middle School - A teacher that teaches in both buildings was determined by health officials to be a clinical positive for COVID-19.  That teacher had been in quarantine because she was in close contact with another person that had tested positive previously.  No other students and staff were effected.

September 28, 2020

Driver Middle School - A student at Driver Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19.  Parents were notified and close contacts were quarantined for 14 days.  A football team and a PE class were involved which increased the number of close contacts.  Randolph Central is working closely with state and local health officials as we identify close contacts and continually monitor the effectiveness of the Corporation’s plan to prevent the spread.

Winchester Community High School - A student on the girl's golf team tested positive for COVID-19 and the team was quarantined.  No other students were effected. 

September 11, 2020

Driver Middle School - A student tested positive for COVID-19. No other students were effected.
