Baker Students Go Grey for a Good Cause

On April 9, 2021, students at Baker Elementary in grades PreSchool-2nd Grade dressed in gray and collected donations for Cancer Services for Randolph County. They were able to raise over $250 to donate.

Students and staff took the initiative to do this service-learning project due to the fact that one of Baker's own staff members and a long-time Randolph County resident is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer. Baker Lions know that every little bit helps in the care, research, and support of those undergoing treatment.
