Red Ribbon Week at Baker Elementary
Red Ribbon Week at Baker Elementary
Mrs. Geesy
Saturday, November 02, 2019

Baker Elementary observed Red Ribbon Week October 24-30. Students participated in Dress up days that supported drug free-choices, signed a pledge to be drug-free, and proudly wore their red ribbons. Second grade students read daily announcements sharing the power of making healthy choices and remaining drug-free.

To culminate the week, Baker students at staff took part in a convocation with special speakers including Mr. Daly, the Randolph County Prosecutor. Mr. Daly spoke about the importance of making good choices and encouraged students to do so. Students were also spoken to by Sgt. Barndollar and the crowd favorite, K9 Leo. Leo also showed students his ability to sniff out drugs.

Thank you to all of local law enforcement and community members that have participated in our Red Ribbon Week activities.
